The swans are one of Nairn’s hidden gems. Locals and visitors alike always show great interest in the river wildlife.
Lovely walk up the River from the Harbour. Walk to Firhall Bridge and return down the other side. Rippling river sounds and bird song. Very relaxing.
Always nice to see the Gorse adding a splash of colour (also known as furze or whin). Scene overlooks the Nairn Golf Course and across the Moray Firth.

Despite the shorter days, Sunsets in Winter can be quite dramatic. From the banks of the River Nairn the town skyline is silhouetted against the dark red sky.
